A Facebook integrated fan application for the Kentucky Wildcats. It’s a 3D football game that allows you to challenge friends.

Game Hint: Throw the ball ahead of the receiver as if you want it to hit the front of the Wildcat’s jersey. Always better to be a little ahead of him instead of behind. : )

Swift 3D

Background:
We just launched a game using Swift 3D for many of the assets and PV3D conversion and couldn’t help but shamelessly self-promote our new PV3D Facebook game. It’s a 3D football game that allows you to challenge friends.

Real World: 
I have been using Swift 3D for years to create little elements and supporting aesthetics for projects for years. With such a short learning curve, our team has been able to bring Swift 3D into their toolbox of skillsets so we can efficiently collaborate on projects.

Goals: 
With the football season quickly approaching and the big idea to launch the first true anaglyphic 3D game on Facebook before Adobe releases their Flash 3D api, Swift 3D helped us customize models, reduce poly count and render 3D models to Flash. Swift 3D was also used to create the high quality 3D copy used in print elements.

Product Feature: 
When working on the interface for Kentucky Football's Facebook game, complex animations and high-end models, the Advanced modeler was key to manipulating models at the mesh level.

Future Projects: 
We will continue to use Swift 3D as we experiment with new Flash-based Facebook Games in addition to high quality 3D asset development for our print initiatives.
