Model Without Limits in Swift 3D's Advanced Modeling Environment

The Advanced Modeler introduces Swift 3D users to the same power found in high-end modeling programs, but without the steep learning curve or the high price. The modeler resides within its own tabbed area and works seamlessly with Swift 3D's previous workflow. This allows designers to continue to create objects in the extrusion and lathe editors and instantly move over to the Advanced Modeler to fine-tune, reshape, or even weld their 3D mesh objects together.
Select Polygon Vertices, Faces, and Edges

An imperative part of the 3D modeling and creation process is the ability to select vertices, edges, faces, and objects for manipulation. Swift 3D simplifies the selection process with easily accessible selection button modes and real-time visual feedback as you mouseover the selection areas. "Soft Select" provides an advanced selection mode that allows the user to quickly manipulate an area surrounding a single vertex with varying degrees of intensity.
Quick & Intuitive Modeling Tools For Manipulating

Swift 3D provides several quick and intuitive ways to mold your models to your exact specifications. The first is a simple set of buttons that allow you to enter modes for moving, rotating, scaling, extruding, and texturing your mesh.

The second method for adjusting your objects mesh is by right-clicking on the object and choosing your tool or function of choice. There are several powerful functions included in this menu including subdivide with smoothing, roundness, edge division, mirroring, welding, aligning, and grouping. For more information on some of these useful functions accessible through this context menu visit:

Apply smoothing & rounding to defined surfaces

Specify surfaces to apply textures and bitmaps

Choose surface areas for rendered lines to be drawn
Real-time Selection Feedback For Rapid Shape Development
Swift 3D even provides visual clues as you roll over and select your mesh based on the selection type you've chosen. This allows you to easily visualize the area you are selecting and allows you to rapidly shape your 3D object.
Mesh Primitives w/ Preview Window and Segmentation Controls

The Advanced Modeler mesh primitives will provide you with an excellent base to start your models. The primitives properties panel allows you to adjust primitive parameters and preview the primitives final settings. You can also immediately adjust your primitives size and aspect ratio when inserting a primitive into the scene.
