Specify Surfaces to Apply Materials and Textures
In typical Swift 3D fashion, Electric Rain has crafted a way to easily define surface groups, and apply materials and textures to it. This highly requested feature will finally allow you to make that six sided cube with a different materials on each side. But don't stop there, this feature will allow you to make some incredible detailed models with life-like texture qualities.

Simply select a group of polygons by dragging your mouse over the region and mark it as a surface group by clicking on the "Group Selection" button in the Surface groups property panel; then drag your desired material from the material gallery onto the surface area. Done!
